Caroline studied at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art in Washington DC under Brockie Stevenson (War Artist) and attended master classes at The Slade School in London. She has been en plein air painter most of her life, mostly in the Middle East and has been a lifelong member of the Armed Forces Art Society, and a member of the Chelsea Art Society for twenty years..

Now she mostly works to commission.. though currently showing at The Russell Gallery Putney the Chelsea Art Society, and the Sloane Stanley Estates Exhibition later this month.
Caroline completed an advanced Medieval Illumination course at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts with Helen White and more recently at The Queens Gallery with Christabel Anderson.
In 2002 she became interested in icon writing studying under Aidan Hart, and masters from Russia and Eastern Europe. In 2011 she was invited to attend an advanced gilding course with Radoslav Hristov at St. Catherine's Monastery, Sinai. In 2004 she was commissioned to paint a series of icons for the publication 'Way To Life' published by Redemptorist Publications in 2006 and Liguori Publications in the USA in 2007.
